The Purchasing Department is a member of the administrative team of Denton County.  Beth Fleming, C.P.M., CPPO, Director of Purchasing, is employed by the Denton County Commissioners Court and protects the interest of the Denton County taxpayers and is responsible for assuring fair and equitable treatment to all vendors without regard to political pressure. The Director of Purchasing is charged with the responsibility of purchasing all supplies, materials, and equipment required and contracts for all repairs to property and supervises all purchases made on competitive bid.

Persons or vendors interested in being added to Denton County Bidder's Mailing List must complete Vendor Online Application. Minority and small business vendors are encouraged to bid on any and all Denton County projects.

Statement of Purpose

  • To provide the best service possible to all county departments in a fair and equitable manner.

  • To ensure an atmosphere of equality to all vendors without regard to undue influence or political pressures.

  • To protect the interests of the Denton County taxpayers in all expenditures
